Jasper Somers is a Customer Development Engineer at Aluminium Duffel, working with Aluminium products for automotive & industrial applications. With a background in electromechanics, he has a particular interest in imaging technologies, surface metrology, and the development of new methods for materials characterisation. Alongside his professional role, he independently developed SegLab, an AI-based image analysis tool for the automated assessment of filiform corrosion on Aluminium body sheet.
