David Waroquiers is an engineer and materials scientist with a PhD in Materials Science from UCLouvain. Following his doctoral research, he worked closely with industrial partners within a university environment, helping translate advanced scientific research into solutions for real-world innovation challenges. Building on this experience at the intersection of academia and industry, he co-founded Matgenix, a company dedicated to accelerating R&D in materials science and chemistry through data, artificial intelligence, and computational simulation.
