This first edition of the conference will take place in Mechelen, Belgium, on 28-29-30 September 2026.

Ideally located and easily reachable between Brussels and Antwerp, the Van der Valk hotel in Mechelen will host the very first edition of AIMET. This beautiful and comfortable hotel is built in the historic building of the city’s former public pool, which is now converted to a inside court where you can relax during our breaks.

The city of Mechelen has several attractions just around the corner of the hotel, not least the impressive cathedral with its sky deck, or the Large Beguinage, a Unesco world heritage site.
